Have you ever wondered what would happen if an Italian movie director decided to update Lysistrata but set in Caveman times? Well quest no further. Bruno Corbucci has answered your prayers. True he has taken some liberties with the original story line, for instance, his women go on strike to stop the fighting but not to save their sons lives but to have more time for sex. This version is about 17 minutes short of the 100 minutes noted at IMDb. I am not sure what was cut though I suspect that it was probably mostly slapstick fighting between the tribes.
