Violated 1953 Crime/Drama ½ (1953)
Disguised as a cautionary suspense thriller, Violated is essentially an excuse to display some strippers taking their clothes off. Filmed in New York City and intended for the niche market from art houses to back-street grind houses, with most of the distribution landing in the latter, "Violated" is the story of a serial/sex killer, Jan C. Verbig (Wim Holland), whose M.O. is cropping the hair of his victims. Mediocre acting and the direction of the film are a downer, but there's no denying that the film is extremely well-photographed by Pat Rich.
