Únos (1952)
A plane leaving Ostrava bound for Prague is hijacked by Czechs seeking to abscond to the West. Upon landing at a U.S airbase near Munich the other passengers are asked to choose whether to remain in the West or return to Czechoslovakia and much to the surprise of the Americans most choose to return home. The Western authorities employ various methods from torture and bribary to appeasement to make them change their minds but their solidarity eventually wins them their release whilst the hijackers and the few who chose the West remain in custody.
