An unfinished film that tells the story of the creation of Shenandoah National Park from George Freeman Pollock's perspective, the owner of Skyland Resort and park promoter. With footage featured in the documentary Rothstein's First Assignment (Cinema Guild 2011), Trip to Skyland includes depictions of Corbin family members living in Corbin Hollow(19:08, 31:10, 37:38) and George Freeman Pollock's famous snake dance (25:14) performed for his guests at Skyland Resort, where he and many of his guests are dressed as Arabs in blackface.
