This film is called 'A Night to Remember'. It's in color and a 1958 Golden Globe Award-winning film based on Walter Lord's book (1955) with the same name, recounting the final night of the R.M.S. Titanic. Walter Lord had specialized in novels about big historical events shrouded in mystery. Lord dealt with themes such as Titanic, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the exploration of the polar regions and the American civil rights movement. He became most known for his book about Titanic 'A night to remember'.
