Tidal Wave Reconstruction (1975)
History: “Tidal Wave” was released in 1975, and it was an Americanized version of a Toho film called "Submersion of Japan" (1973). The U.S. version was made by New World Pictures. The film inserted about 7 minutes of new scenes with Lorne Greene. While also cutting out an hour of footage from the Japanese version. From a runtime of 2 hours and 20 minutes, to 1 hour and 20 minutes. The film would later be shown on TV. The original Japanese version is available on DVD, Blu-Ray in Japan, and recently has a 4K remaster that aired on TV.
