It follows the story of Ilya Muromets, a legendary knight who, after being cured of his paralysis by pilgrims, embarks on a quest to save his fiancée, Vassilisa, from the invading Tugars. Along the way, he battles various foes, including the Wind Demon and the dragon Zmey Gorynych, ultimately leading his people to victory against the Tugars while confronting personal challenges, including his relationship with
