The Sweet Jew (1940)
"Jud Süß" is a German film released in 1940, directed by Veit Harlan and produced within the context of the Nazi regime. Commissioned by the Ministry of Propaganda headed by Joseph Goebbels, this film was designed as a propaganda tool against Jews. The script is based on the story of Joseph Süß Oppenheimer, an 18th-century Jewish banker.
