The Medicine Man 1930 w/ Captions (1930)
Jack Benny's pre-fame 1930 film "The Medicine Man" (based on the play by Elliot Lester). Jack plays Dr. John H. Harvey, a traveling doctor who puts on vaudevillian shows in small towns while selling health products. Upon arriving in a small town, he meets Mamie (played by Betty Bronson, in one of her few surviving movies), the daughter of an abusive storekeeper. I added subtitles. While I'm not a professional, I hope that their addition will allow people more people to enjoy this film.
