The Lotus Eaters (1972)
Erik and Ann Shepherd are an English couple who run a tavern out in Crete in Greece. They play host to a number of expats who regularly come to their tavern, each with their own problems or secrets. But they are not the only ones who have secrets. Erik is a recovering alcoholic who has flashbacks to his time with a young girl who later ended up murdered, while his seemingly loyal wife Ann is not all she seems either. But is anybody in this seemingly exotic and luxurious island of Crete?
