The Lollipop Cover (1965)
An ex-boxer (Don Gordon) meets a 9-year-old abandoned girl (Carol Ann Seflinger) and together they hitchhike to California to find a junkie who owes him money. This plodding road drama features an unusual grittiness for the mid-1960s, and it includes David White (aka Larry Tate from Bewitched) as a predatory gay guy, and a then-unknown Sally Kellerman, who performs two songs. The soundtrack album is available here , although strangely, Kellerman's songs didn't make the cut. The script was co-written by Gordon, and the movie was released by Continental Distributing in the USA and Monarch Releas
