The Black Swan HOMERVISION (1942)
In the 1970s I was fortunate enough to witness a screening of a Technicolor Nitrate print of The Black Swan , 20th Century Fox's lush Pirate epic starring Tyrone Power and Maureen O'hara. It was one of the most sublime viewing experiences I have ever experienced. Since then all that has been available, including on home video, are versions of an inferior Eastman dupe of the fragile nitrate original. These Eastman copies look like dishwater. This new re-mastered version brings you closer to the original Technicolor experience.
