Drama brasileiro mudo rodado em Cataguazes (MG). É o mais antigo filme sobrevivente de Humberto Mauro. "Os irmãos Bráulio e Pedro, após a morte do pai, são criados por um amigo, Hilário, pai de Susana. Quando Bráulio atinge a maioridade, Hilário lhe entrega o fragmento de um mapa de um tesouro. Esse fragmento é cobiçado por um bandido e um falso médico. Para conseguir o mapa, os bandidos assassinam um velho, dono do outro fragmento, e raptam Susana, exigindo a entrega do primeiro pedaço do mapa."
