Shabistan (1951)
Shabistan is a 1951 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Bibhuti Mitra, and produced by Filmistan. It stars Shyam along with Naseem Banu, and features a soundtrack composed by C. Ramchandra and Madan Mohan. Midway during the production, on 25 April 1951, leading actor Shyam died due to an on-set accident. The film was eventually finished by a body double and marked Shyam's final screen appearance.
