Oh, Sun (original French title Soleil Ô ) is a 1967 French-Mauritanian avant-garde drama film directed by Med Hondo. Africa's first avant-garde film, the movie employs a myriad of stylistic techniques - animation, docudrama, dream sequences, musical numbers, folklore, slapstick comedy, and agitprop - to tell of a Mauritanian native who observes racial inequality when he is selected to work in Paris.
