Men on the Mountain (original Hungarian title Emberek a havason , which translates to People on the Alps and also released as People of the Mountains ) is a 1942 Hungarian drama film directed by István Szöts. The film revolves around a woodcutter who faces tragedy when he moves his wife and son to a mountain in the hopes of giving them a better life. It is presented here in its original Hungarian with English subtitles.
