Mandara (1971)
Mandara (original Japanese spelling 曼陀羅 and also known as Mandala ) is a 1971 Japanese New Wave drama film directed by Akio Jissôji. The film revolves around two university students who stumble across a religious cult that recruits through rape. It is presented here in its original Japanese with English subtitles. Also included here are a commentary track by David Desser (audio track #2), an introduction to the film by David Desser, and the original theatrical trailer for the film.
