Klar Schiff zum Gefecht ist ein Drama aus dem Jahr 1956 von Joseph Pevney mit Jeff Chandler und George Nader . Das kleine Transportschiff „Belinda“ kreuzt während des Zweiten Weltkriegs im Pazifischen Ozean. Mit Kriegshandlungen sollten Captain Jeb Hawks (Jeff Chandler) und seine reichlich unerfahrene Besatzung eigentlich gar nichts zu tun haben. Doch dann geraten sie mitten in ein Scharmützel mit japanischen Angreifern. Captain Hawks muß beweisen, daß er seine Mannschaft mitreißen kann… Der aufwendig produzierte und arg patriotische Kriegsfilm ist ganz auf den „Helden“ abgestimmt.
