Inferno of Torture (original Japanese title 徳川いれずみ師 責め地獄, which transliterates to Tokugawa irezumi-shi: Seme jigoku and translates to Tokugawa Tattoo History: Torture Hell and also known as Hell's Tattooers and Tokugawa II: Inferno of Torture ) is a 1969 Japanese horror drama exploitation film directed by Teruo Ishii. The film revolves around women who are forced into prostitution and tattooed for the Shogun's appreciation, with the tattooed women being raped and tortured by their tattooists.
