Directed by Léonce Perret. Based on the play with the same name by Francis de Croisset. After plastic surgery, a young woman becomes beautiful, not only physically, but also morally, and leaves the gang of thugs she used to belong to. This was the first movie version of de Croisset's play, followed by En kvinnas ansikte (1938), directed by Gustaf Molander and starring Ingrid Bergman, and A Woman's Face (1941), directed by George Cukor and starring Joan Crawford, which are more popular.
