Filmed during the Field Museum-Chicago Daily News Abyssinian Expedition, 1926-1927. Photographed by Charles Suydam Cutting, with the assistance of Alfred M. Bailey. The expedition party also included James Baum a reporter and representative for The Chicago Daily News, artist Louis Agassiz Fuertes and Field Museum Curator of Zoology Wilfred H. Osgood. Under the direction of W. H. Osgood, the film was edited and presented with slides as part of his lecture titled "Mysterious Abyssinia" at the Field Museum.
