El-Wahm (1979)
El-Wahm (original Arabic spelling الوهم, which translates to The Illusion ) is a 1979 Egyptian mystery thriller film directed by Nader Galal. A remake of Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 film Vertigo, the film revolves around an engineer, traumatized after witnessing a worker fall to death from a building, who travels to Alexandria to recover and meets a strange woman who quickly begins to desire his money. It is presented here in its original Arabic with English subtitles.
