Curse of the Ubangi (1946)
This is an exploitation mondo movie from Dwain Esper the man who directed MANIAC (1934), NARCOTIC (1933) and MARIHUANA (1936) The film is made up of stock footage and scenes from other mondo movies. The film is also known as CURSE OF THE UBANGI VIRGIN and LA MALDICION UBANGUI. The film was thought to be lost but a few years ago a Spanish print of the film showed up on South American TV. The English narration was replaced with Spanish narration. Warning: The film features naked footage native people and some of the film has a racist feel to it which was common in old mondo jungle movies.
