Communion (1976)
Communion (also known as Alice, Sweet Alice and/or Holy Terror ) is a 1976 psychological thriller and an early example of a slasher film. It was well received on release and has become a cult classic. It was also included among the Video Nasties. On the day of her First Communion, Karen is strangled to death in the church transept by a person wearing a Halloween mask and a yellow raincoat. After Karen's funeral, her father begins to investigate her murder independently. Meanwhile, Detective Spina handles the case formally.
