A 1957 documentary about the construction of the Massachusetts Turnpike and its opening. The narrator has been identified as Jack Chase, a local news anchor at WBZ-TV 4, and the film was produced by the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority and appears in WorldCat as "Construction of the Initial Turnpike", OCLC 24802486. It is unknown if this title was official however as at no time in the film itself do credits or titles appear. Because this film was entirely the product of a government agency of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, it is in the public domain.
