Boquitas pintadas es una película argentina de drama basada en la novela homónima de Manuel Puig , dirigida por Leopoldo Torre Nilsson , con guion de Torre Nilsson y Puig, producción de Juan Sires y banda sonora de Waldo de los Ríos . Estuvo protagonizada por Luisina Brando , Alfredo Alcón y Marta González . Los actores Luis Politti , Cipe Lincovsky , Leonor Manso y Mecha Ortiz completan el elenco principal. Se estrenó el 23 de mayo de 1974. Está ambientada principalmente en la década de 1930 en la Argentina.
