Here is another interesting film starring Russ Columbo, whose vocal style was very similar to Bing Crosby, but Columbo fell victim to an unfortunate accident with a gun that he did not know was loaded. He was showing the gun to a friend, and Columbo looked down the front of the gun and the gun went off killing Columbo instantly. "Wake Up And Dream was issued posthumously by Universal Pictures, who very seldom revive anything in their classic film archive , unless it is a monster film with Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney , Jr.
