Anthony Burgess reads A Clockwork Orange (1973)
Anthony Burgess (1917-1993) reads chapters 1, 2 and 4 of his classic and controversial novel "A Clockwork Orange", originally released by Caedmon in 1973. The audio comes from a 1996 cassette reissue. Very interesting to hear it read by the author himself, although just the opening chapters of it...I wish he'd recorded the entire thing. Still, an interesting artifact for fans of both the book and the film. Fair Use Act, 1976. I claim no copyright of the contents herein.
